3D Sonogram

3D sonograms seem so strange, with the sepia toning and the details, but it is the standard in so many other countries. I figured within 20 years, this will look old fashion. I also wanted to assuage my thoughts that I ws growing a monkey child. So you get to be the judge. Here are a few pics.


So the first pic is him sucking on his umbilical cord and the second pic is him snuggling my placenta. He looks cute!

SIX months

So I hit the six month mark this week and I swear I doubled in size. This whole week I must have eaten six meals per day but today I could barely eat 2. Pasta tasted bland and nothing really satisfies my taste buds. And boy am I tired today. The belly moves most when I am on my computer and he is quietest when I am walking the dog or working out.

I am constantly amazed at the amount of stuff the kid can be offered. My newest search is a small convenient stroller that will grow with the kid for a while. I will have to go to babies R' us and get more info to decide what I want in a stroller and then find one online. Yeesh.

I also have decided to buy none ... ok ONE... stuffed animal. We know Kodiak will think it is his and want it all! I adore the blabla line... cute, not made in toxi-China and soft. In case you aren't tired of voting, it is your turn to vote... which one do you like?

Since I have become pregnant, I seem to not be inclined to take any pictures. I used to take hundred per month and now I can't take one. I have no pics of my pregnant belly. I vow to take a pic by month's end. And I will post it then...maybe.

five months

So here is Bodhi sucking his thumb... just five months old.  He seems happy and ready to soothe himself in this world.  

If you are wondering about the baby shower, we have some time.  The shower will be in January but I will post items needed in a few weeks.  

This is Bodhi at 3 months.  Hilarious... his alien head and middle finger reminding me he is a boy and I am surely in for a new life!  Thought you would enjoy sharing... 

Sona's Rant and Roll

Bodhi is coming... 

So Bodhi is coming as of March 3, 2009.  I anticipate (due to ignorance and bliss) that it will take 7 hours and 40 minutes of labor for him to enter the world.  You can laugh at me after the labor. And at my shower, I am taking bets on his weight, length, length of delivery and when my water will break so start thinking about what your answer will be....

Registries:

I have registered at 4 places.  Besides hooray for Books, if you see the exact same item online or at another store feel free to buy it at the place of your choice and  email me and tell me so I can take it off my registry list.

Things not to purchase for Bodhi

Stuffed Animals: Kodiak will eat them before bodhi gets a chance to see it.

Room Decor: Bodhi won't have his own room for a few years so there is no room to decorate.  

Magazines: I truly don't and won't have time for any new mags, even mags like Parenting or Cookie.
